A2Z Insider: Your journey has taken you from a small-town upbringing and Mrs. India pageantry to becoming a recognised content creator. What were the key turning points that shaped this journey, and what made you embrace opportunities that came your way?
Paridhi Bhatnagar: My journey started from a small-town background, where I learned the importance of hard work, confidence and staying grounded. Winning the Mrs. India 2017 title was one of the biggest turning points in my life. It opened doors to modelling, acting, social work and many new opportunities. My experience as a child counsellor also shaped me deeply by teaching me to understand people and their emotions. Later, content creation gave me a platform to connect directly with people and share stories that matter. I have always believed in embracing opportunities that help me grow while staying true to who I am.
A2Z Insider: Your “Vocal for Local” approach has become an important part of your identity, especially your efforts to showcase small businesses, local entrepreneurs, traditional vendors and lesser-known places. What inspired you to use your platform to give these stories greater visibility?
Paridhi Bhatnagar: Coming from a small-town background myself, I understand how much visibility can mean to a local business or entrepreneur. I have seen many talented people doing wonderful work but not getting the recognition they deserve. That inspired me to use my platform to support them. For me, Vocal for Local is not just a trend; it is about genuinely supporting local businesses, entrepreneurs, artisans and people who are working hard to build something of their own.
A2Z Insider: You have created content around Chittorgarh, Neemuch and Rajasthan’s lesser-known temples, heritage, food and cultural stories. How do you decide which local story deserves to be brought to your audience, and what do you hope people discover beyond the usual tourist narrative?
Paridhi Bhatnagar: I don’t always look for the most famous place or story. I look for something that has a unique identity, history or emotion behind it. Chittorgarh, Neemuch and Rajasthan have so many beautiful temples, heritage sites, food traditions and local stories that often remain unexplored. Through my content, I want people to discover the lesser-known side of these places and realise that there is so much beauty and culture beyond the usual tourist narrative.
A2Z Insider: You have also explored very different roles as a content creator, Mrs. India titleholder, child counsellor and actor, including your role in Veer Bala. How have these experiences influenced the way you communicate, connect with people and present stories today?
Paridhi Bhatnagar: Each of these experiences has taught me something different. Counselling taught me to listen and understand people, pageantry gave me confidence and presentation skills, while acting taught me the importance of emotions and storytelling. Content creation brought all these experiences together. Today, I don’t just want to speak in front of the camera; I want to connect with people and make them feel something through the stories I share.
A2Z Insider: You often emphasise originality, consistency and using social media with purpose rather than simply chasing trends. Looking ahead, what is your vision for your platform, and what kind of impact would you like to create for local businesses, women and aspiring creators?
Paridhi Bhatnagar: My vision is to use social media with purpose not just for popularity, but to create opportunities and positive impact. I want to continue supporting local businesses, empowering women and encouraging aspiring creators to believe in their own originality. I strongly believe that you don’t have to copy someone else to succeed. Your own identity, consistency and authenticity are your biggest strengths. I want my platform to inspire people and especially show that coming from a small town should never stop you from dreaming big.
